About

Receipts, not opinions.

Fitstaxx is the provenance layer for Indian supplements. Every price, label claim, FSSAI record and lab link on this site traces back to a source you can open yourself. We don't score products, we don't rank them for money, and no brand pays to be here.

Who runs it

Fitstaxx is written and maintained by Megha Rao. I started it because buying a protein in India means wading through sponsored “best of” lists, influencer codes and label claims no one checks. I wanted one place that just shows the evidence and says where it came from. I decide what goes on the site, and I check every lab value by hand before it renders.

How the data works

• Every number has a receipt. Nothing is typed into a page. Each value is a row in our database with a source, a link and a date — if there's no source, the value doesn't show. A blank means we don't hold that fact yet, never that it's zero.
• Prices come from the sellers. They're fetched from each brand's own store, refreshed regularly, and stamped with when we last checked. A stale price is hidden, not shown as current.
• Lab reports are linked, not rewritten. Third-party tests from Labdoor, Trustified and Unbox Health are shown as links to their own reports. We aggregate and point; we don't republish their results as our own, and we don't run the tests ourselves.
• FSSAI is the regulatory frame. Where a brand publishes a licence number we capture it and link the evidence. Where we can't find one, the section simply isn't shown.
• Community sentiment stays in its lane. Reddit and marketplace reviews speak to taste, digestion and service — never to what's in the product. A star rating never stands in for a lab test.
• No verdicts. We report what a test found and what a label claims. We never tell you a product is a “scam” or a “fraud”, and we never publish a score out of ten.

How we stay honest

Fitstaxx earns through affiliate links only, and never on a product that failed a test — not even to an alternative. Ranking order on any list is fixed before a single affiliate link is added. If a source retracts a result or a retest changes the picture, the page is updated and the change is dated. There are no sponsored posts and no brand-paid reviews, ever.

Currently tracking 54 products across 9 brands, with 30 linked lab reports.
